Location
Cabra Castle Hotel is situated in the east of County Cavan -in the north east of Ireland. Located outside the town of Kingscourt, the Castle stands on the borders of Co. Monaghan, Co.Meath and Co.Cavan.

1 ½ hours from either Dublin or Belfast in County Cavan

Directions from Dublin : This journey will take less than one and a half hours to get to this hotel. Upon leaving the city you take the N3. (If travelling from the airport take the M50 to get to the N3 junction). The N3 brings you through Dunshaughlin, and then into Navan town. In Navan, at the third set of traffic lights, you take a right onto the R162. This road brings you through a small village called Wilkinstown, then Nobber, and then Kingscourt. When you arrive in Kingscourt, you take a right at the second roundabout onto the Carrickmacross road. The avenue to the Hotel is located 1.8 miles from Kingscourt on the right hand side.

Directions from Belfast : Leaving Belfast take the A1 passing through Newry and on to Dundalk. The roads are good. In Dundalk you take the R179 which brings you to Carrickmacross. In Carrickmacross, you then take the Kingscourt road, ( this road has quite a lot of bends on it so caution is advised). The hotel is approximately 7 miles out this road (just before Kingscourt town). The junction for the avenue to the hotel is situated on the left hand side of the road - on a dangerous bend - there are markings for "concealed entrance" and "slow" approaching the entrance, so again caution is advised.
