The GREEN Room. A particularly friendly
room, the Green Room still boasts its original Victorian wallpaper.
Its huge bay windows give you the best views up and down the
lake from this floor, making it a bright sunlit romantic room
draped in green with its own private bathroom.
Generations of Leslies have slept here. It's also accommodated
Madame Volkof, a poked-faced White Russian, 'Maimie' a penniless
Romanian aristocrat and kleptomaniac, and the famous Dublin wit,
Oliver St. John Gogarty.
The green room is the only room without ensuite but does have
a private bathroom. |
