Ranging from Equestrian, Falconry, Clay pigeon Shooting, Golf, Spa and lots of nearby facilities for guests to avail of.

Falconry
We provide programmes to suit all ages and abilities; from simple photo opportunities to a hunt in the field. Falconry and the art of hunting with falcons is reputed to be the oldest sport in the World. Now you have the opportunity to get up close and be part of the action here at Kinnitty Castle. 24 hours notice required.

Clay Pigeon Shooting
Our clay pigeon shoot comprises 6 sporting events and one down the line. The Shoot is fully
automated and supervised. All necessary equipment is provided.We can also arrange for the more traditional form of shooting, archery, comprising of 6 targets with longbow and crossbow.

Equestrian
Kinnitty Castle Equestrian Centre can boast of having the best trail riding facilities available to any rider on it's doorstep, 'The Slieve Bloom Mountains'. With days of trails available we can offer everything from a walk to an exciting canter along these unspoilt trails with fantastic views. We cater from everyone from beginner to advanced riders.
Tuition is also available onsite in both flatwork and jumping lessons. Show jumping and Dressage Clinics are held periodically throughout the year. We offer everything from 1 hour to a 3 hour ride through the Slieve Bloom Mountains. Our horses are; Irish Cobs, Irish Droughts, Irish Sport Horses and Comenoro ponies..
As one would expect, our guides are here to make sure you enjoy your time at Kinnitty and we have many years experience in doing so.

Nearby Attractions
In close proximity to Kinnitty Castle is the picturesque village of Kinnitty. The towns of both Tuallamore and Birr are only 20 minutes drive away from the Castle. Tullamore is great for shopping and in Birr, Birr Castle has spectacular gardens and contains an historical astronomical exhibit of a reflecting telescope, the largest in the world. Kinnitty Castle is also very near to Kilbeggan race course.
Kinnitty Castle is centrally located which makes it the ideal location if attending one of Irelands major race meetings.
