Few hotels in Scotland can boast such a special setting for a memorable dining experience as the magnificent restaurant at Stonefdield, very much baronial and very 'highland' indeed in character, with quite remarkable views over the Loch from a stunning elevated position through large feature windows, and its adjoining little aperitifs or after dinner drinks bar where you can enjoy a little change of atmosphere before or after dinner - perfect for those wanting a more intimate, romantic atmosphere - and where you can smoke too if you wish! Our restaurant is non-smoking.

Our guests quickly come to appreciate the imaginative use of the Scottish larder to provide and present inspired Taste of Scotland cuisine by our professional young team, whose eclectic mix of classic cooking and experience from different parts of the world is only surpassed by their passion to create the most interesting and enjoyable food experience anywhere in Argyllshire. A lovely culinary experience, enhanced and complemented by the soft acoustics and intimate character of our restaurant. Candlelit romance and well spaced large tables add to the experience.
Bars
With a superb selection of over 60 single malts, many of them from the our delightful whisky bar has enough to please even the greatest of connoisseurs, and can make for an interesting evening of tastings. The wonderful peaty flavours from Islay can be compared against the more mellow Malts from the Highlands and Lowlands.
