Adare Manor & Golf Club - Par 69, 5,764 yard In 1992 the current 18 hole course, designed by Eddie Hackett, was opened and in the year 2000 the club celebrated it's centenary. The ruins of the Desmond Castle, built in 1200, are a magnificent backdrop to the 1st and 15th greens, while the ruins of the Franciscan Abbey, built in 1464, dominate the centre of the course.
