Things to Do
Golf

The Adare Golf Course opened in 1995 and was designed and built by the world famous architect Robert Trent Jones Sr. stretching 7,453 yards from championship tees down to 5082 yards (Incorporating 4 tees per hole). Home of the Irish Open 2008 & 2009.
The Golf Course is a majestic design with rock-walled streams, suttle undulating putting surfaces with the Jones signature clover leaf bunkers. A 14 acre lake dominates the front nine holes while the back nine is routed through wooded land. Adding beauty to all of this, the River Maigue meanders through the course creating a sense of beauty and challenge. Its testing design coupled with superb putting surfaces, Adare Golf Club is one of the finest golf courses in Ireland.
In 1999 to maintain our 5 star standard our golf superintendent Mr. Joe O' Flaherty designed and implemented a drainage system and top-dressing programme to ensure our facility is available all year round. The success of this operation has allowed us to provide an extremely high standard of course.

Spa
Presiding over breathtaking formal gardens and a majestic parkland golf course, the Spa at Adare Manor has been created as a sanctuary where each individual has the opportunity to escape.
The elegant interior of the Spa warmly welcomes you to indulge in a superb host of luxury health and beauty treatments. Our team are chosen for their expertise and true dedication to pamper and care for your every need in the most relaxed atmosphere.
A visit to the Spa at Adare Manor will prove revitalising and invigorating. A bringing together the senses of mind, body and spirit into the whole being..

Fishing
The River Maigue, which runs through the estate of Adare Manor, offers salmon and trout. A ghillie can be arranged to escort fishing groups or individuals. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Laser Clay Target Shooting
Can be arranged with prior notice. The players use a modified Shotgun that fires an infra-red beam at clays launched from a conventional launcher. The Shotgun generates a “Bang” and the scoreboard registers a hit or miss. 5 people can shoot at the same time at one clay therefore making the activity great and challenging.

Indoor Swimming Pool, Steam Room & Fitness Centre
Adare Manor’s elegant Indoor Heated Swimming pool & Steam Room overlooks the River Maigue and adjoins the health facility. The Fitness Centre is fully equipped with free weights, Nautilus equipment, treadmill, Stairmaster and lifecycles.

Horse Riding
Clonshire Equestrian Centre is located 2 miles from Adare Manor and offers the finest in facilities and instruction for riders of all ages and abilities. Each of the rooms tells a story, one, which is quite unique and incredibly interesting. There are the formal gardens to the front of the building laid out in geometric box patterns, parts of which are over 120 years old.
