golf courses at Murrayhall. The Championship course offers an
exciting challenge while the Lynedoch course is more forgiving.
Murrayshall also has a driving range facility and can offer expert
tuition at our Golf School.
If you want to look the part, you can visit our golf shop for
the latest equipment and clothing.
Clay Pigeon - At Murrayshall
we can arrange for trained instructors to show you the basics
of Clay Pigeon Shooting.
Falconry - Amidst the fantastic
scenery of the estate, you should try your hand at falconry.
The fantastic and beautiful Falcon is an awesome bird and at
Murrayshall you can see them in all their splendour.
Archery - Archery is another
of the wide range of activities on offer.
This medieval sport has deep rooted traditions which make it
a compelling and exciting challenge.
Quad Biking - Take one of our
quad bikes on an off-road ride through the Murrayshall estate.
Tackle the rigours of rough ground and traverse streams or race
against others to add to the excitement.
Fishing - There's nothing more
relaxing than a spot of fishing.
At Murrayshall we can arrange loch or river fishing for Trout
or Salmon. Tuition, Ghillies and equipment can also be arranged.
Horse Riding - Getting out
into the fresh air and seeing the countryside takes on a whole
new perspective when you are riding on the back of a horse.
Riding locally, close to the hotel can be arranged or alternatively,
a short 15 minute drive away you can experience exceptional quality
tuition and hacking at Gleneagles Equestrian Centre.
Jacuzzi - If you need something
to relieve the stresses and strains of daily life, then look
no further than our steam room and jacuzzi.
Tennis - For the tennis enthusiast,
Murrayshall has an outdoor hardcourt tennis court.
During the summer months you can hone your technique in the hope
of being the next Tim Henman.
Open Spaces - The 300 acre
Murrayshall Estate offers infinite opportunities for enjoying
the open spaces.
Established walking paths run all through the estate making exploration
easy. Enjoy the fantastic Perthshire scenery and take in the
fresh air.
