Walking in England: Caves to Coast Walk

Cheddar GorgeThis walk can be taken as a short break or added onto the Mendip Explorer walk for those interested in walking longer distances. The walk takes you through the undulating Mendip escarpment from the city of Wells onto Cheddar famous for the Gorge, Cheddar Cheese and strawberries. It continues to Shipham before climbing to the summit of Wavering Down with its exhilarating views of the Bristol Channel and the Welsh Hills. The path then winds its self down and through the villages of Loxton, Bleadon and onto the coastal resort of Weston-super-Mare. Your accommodation will be at the Webbington Hotel, a three star hotel situated on the southern slopes of the Mendips.

The guided tour includes:
Centre based hotel, 4 nights, accommodation with en-suite facilities and full English or Continental breakfast, packed lunch and evening meal together with daily transportation to and from walks. Generally no single supplement.
