A six day walking break which enables you
to both enjoy the countryside as well as discover our English
Heritage. The walks take you through lush meadows with panoramic
views and you explore megalithic Stonhenge and the ruined 14th
Century Farleigh Hungerford Castle. You will enjoy the tranquillity
and splendour of the 18th Century Stourhead House and gardens.
The picture postcard village of Lacock nestles within the Wiltshire
countryside with its famous Abbey. You will stay at the Mendip
House Hotel, a three star hotel situated on the outskirts of
the Market town of Frome.
The guided tour includes:
Hotel for 5 nights, accommodation with en-suite facilities and
full English or Continental breakfast, packed lunch and evening
meal together with daily transportation to and from walks. Generally
no single supplement.

5 nights accommodation in a mixture ot small hotels, inns and
B & B's, with ensuite. English or Continental breakfast,
easy to follow maps, and route notes, luggage transfer and emergency
backup. Start any day subject to confirmation of accommodation.
No solo walkers are allowed.
Your own transportation is required for this route as a self-guided
walk.
