A walking tour along the superb western edge of the Lake District National Park where you can enjoy the area's magnificent scenery without climbing all the way up and down the surrounding hills. There are also a few optional and more challenging excursions to higher elevations for the adventurous. The tour takes in a wide range of interests including wildlife and nature reserves, historic sites dating back to Roman times, industrial archaeology from the 18th and 19th centuries and many literary associations such as Coleridge and Wordswoth.
