Walking in Ireland The Burren & Aran Islands
Cliffs of MoherTwo incredibly different regions with wonderful contrasting scenery. The Burren offers a wild and desolate appearance to its "moon-like" appearance, and is a fascination of landscape and history, with a wealth of flora that is unique in Europe. Moving to Connemara - this was originally a fantastic place that only fishermen had discovered - now walkers also know and understand its' beauty and help to preserve its' identity. A land of widespread bog, and mountain ranges like the Twelve Bens and the Maamturks offer a wonderful selection of differing walks. Enjoy a spectacular walk through two completely different landscapes and take some optional extra days to explore the Aran Islands, Leenane or Galway.

The guided tour includes:
7 nights accommodation in bed & breakfasts with ensuite facilities. All breakfasts and dinners, packed lunches on walking days, expert guide, luggage transfer and scheduled transfers to and from airports.

2008 Guided tours depart Apr 22, May 20, July 8, Aug 12, Sep 23
