The Ring of Kerry in the south west of Ireland and is famous for its magnificent lakes of Killarney, native Irish Red Deer, rich and lush vegetation with ancient oak trees. As you move further west the scenery improves all the time. Around the tip of the peninsula at Caherdaniel, Waterville, Portmagee and Caherciveen the reason for this peninsula's popularity and fame becomes obvious with the breath-taking scenery. Note: These are walks in the western coastal region of the Ring of Kerry - not a set route circumnavigating the entire Ring of Kerry
